Zoe Reece is an Engineer with an extensive background in the mining, quarry, and construction sectors across New Zealand, Australia, and the United States. She has also emerged as a transformative leader in the global medicinal cannabis industry. In her role as Director of Engineering at Curaleaf, Zoe spearheaded the design, planning, construction, and launch of over 80 operational facilities within a span of two years, solidifying Curaleaf's position as the largest cannabis company in the United States. Inspired by compelling patient stories, Zoe returned to New Zealand to channel her passion into founding Ora Pharm—a medicinal cannabis start-up where she now serves as CEO. Under her leadership, Ora Pharm has broken barriers as the first New Zealand-based medicinal cannabis company to expand overseas. Zoe’s strategic vision has propelled the company to achieve remarkable milestones, including securing a Callaghan Innovation R&D grant to advance cutting-edge cultivation techniques.
