Already for the 17th time the CannaTrade – International Hemp Fair and Festival took place, for the third time in Hall 622 in Zurich. Over 10,000 visitors found their way to Zurich and enjoyed three days of “pure cannabis”.
Over an area of 6000 m2, 150 exhibitors from all over the world presented products and information relating to cannabis as a crop, medicinal plant and plant for recreational use. CannaTrade covered everything relating to hemp, from growing equipment, utensils and smoking accessories to CBD and hemp products, information about hemp for medicinal use, food items, cosmetics, etc.
On the main stage, a varied program took place with panel discussions, lectures, the Swiss Championship in joint rolling as well as the two award shows “CannaSwissCup” and “CannAward”.

Under the label “CannAward” the most beautiful stand (No. 157, Gizeh) was awarded as well as the title “Lifetime Achievement Award”. Ruth Zwahlen (Hemp Museum) was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award Switzerland” for her long-standing commitment to a sensible hemp policy, and Mathias Bröckers (author) was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award International” for his journalistic work for the lifting of cannabis prohibition.
